Probably the weakest episode of the season but still had some strong moments, Phil's "date", Luke continuing to deliver strong work. The rest of the story lines were just okay. One weird thing, didn't Hailey come back? I wonder if this episode was swapped with last weeks.

I have to agree.

Does Modern Family try to shadow BBT: nerdy sister - clumsy, stupid sister - hipanyone interested in colourful competitors, would make sure he got the nationalities rightas understandable as Phil's anger is with Jay, why so much overacting (like he did when playing baskettball with Luke)?the pregnancy story was also lacking charmCameron is drifting totally into the clown category - why not find some project for him, where he can shine?

don't underestimate the part TV is playing in the development of children

If a parent has a problem with the message that Modern Family is sending out, then they won't let their children watch the program. The responsibility lies not with the television program but the parent.

Modern Family is late in the evening (same as in Germany) - okBig Bang Theory runs in the afternoon children program in Austria and Germany. So when Sheldon simulates a Blow Job, it is pure luck that they don't get it. I checked on some American BBT fora and a lot of members there (no idea how old they were) did not get it either.

Not sure why they're showing Big Bang Theory as an afternoon children's programs when it's not really a family program. It's made and marketed towards adults.
