A great and highly quotable action flick.

 

"What if I told you insane was working fifty hours a week in some office for fifty years at the end of which they tell you to piss off; ending up in some retirement village hoping to die before suffering the indignity of trying to make it to the toilet on time? Wouldn't you consider that to be insane?"

An action classic. Has it all really. Great action, great dialogue, great hero, great villains, and entertaining as hell.

You know I really enjoy the film...until they get to Vegas where they totally blow it on the geography. They crash into the Hard Rock which isn't on the Strip. They come in from the north by the Stratosphere, going past Circus Circus which would be correct, then they go past the Flamingo and Barbary Coast now Bill's Gambling Saloon but they end by the Sands now the Venetian and a little by the Mirage which are close but not as close. But the problem is those hotels are north of the Flamingo and Bill's.And then when they start the motorcycle/fire truck chase they leave the Sands/Mirage area and all of a sudden they're cruising through Freemont Street. I can forgive a lot but that doesn't make sense. C+

Yea, that final chase sequence is totally out of place with the rest of the movie. It's like they had to add one in since it's a Jerry Bruckheimer production. Still enjoy the movie, though.
