Tower
Comparisons for Gravity with other breakout original hits: Opening Weekend (K) Total (M) Multiplier 2012 478 2.68 5.61 Gravity 466 - - The Dictator 430 2.39 5.56 Django unchained 364 2.18 5.99 Inception 355 3.67 10.34 Ted 281 3.39 12.06 Inglorious Basterds 259 2.26 8.73 Based on its legs elsewhere, I expect this to get at least a 6X multiplier, possibly Inception or even Ted legs. So this could make 4-5M. Edited November 13, 2013 by Tower
The Toymaker
Does anybody have an idea how well Escape Plan did/is doing in Israel? I believe it was released, but I cannot find any data for it.
Tower
Does anybody have an idea how well Escape Plan did/is doing in Israel? I believe it was released, but I cannot find any data for it. It was released last month, but just like all Lionsgate films, it won't be tracked. I do know that it was the most film in October which means it probably made at least a million dollars but exact numbers are impossible to get. The only one who might know is this guy, an insider that posts numbers from sometimes, so he might be able to tell you.
The Toymaker
Thanks Tower. Will Rth not even know? or was that Twitter link him?
Tower
Thanks Tower. Will Rth not even know? or was that Twitter link him? I don't think RTH would know, I have never seen him post anything about Israel. That guy is an Israeli insider who knows the distributors and theatre owners, and he posts admission numbers sometimes.
