Jessie
I watched this for the first time yesterday and it's a very well made film yet it wasn't even nominated. Surely that's not right, after all, a documentary about an idiot who decides to eat a McDonalds for every meal in a month got a nod, but this didn't lol. CoolioD1
IIRC it was ineligible. I forget why. It's one of those categories that has weird rules.
Jack Nevada
I really like the film, but it isnt a documentary; its propaganda. Propaganda I agree with, but still
The Dark Alfred
It wasn't a great film, it was ok. The studio and Moore's arrogance cost them a nom. They decided to go for Best Picture and it made it ineligible for the documentary category.
Webslinger
Michael Moore personally opted not to submit Fahrenheit 9/11 for Best Documentary, so no, it was not snubbed.I didn't really care for the film. I wasn't a fan of Bush, but Moore didn't bring much to the table that wasn't already fairly common knowledge at the time.
