This was the best Star Wars movie since Return of the Jedi. 😄 I've seen it 6x already. Chalamet was amazing.

This is the first MCU movie I've actively avoided and have no desire to see it. Perhaps one day on streaming.... Liked Chloe Zhao's previous film though and I'm glad for future MCU properties' sake that it's making money.

I'd love to see a redo of The Dark Tower with true-to-the-book casting, a director/writer who cares, and the budget it deserves. The Stand and The Dark Tower are at the top of my list of favorite books of all time (I thought The Stand series from earlier this year was decent).

I will have seen Dune 6x by the end of the weekend. It’s near perfect. Mad Max, LOTR franchise and now Dune. That’s my list of films this century that are eminently rewatchable. Small list.

Recommendation: Create a contest featuring films from AAA level Directors with far smaller filmographies (Nolan, Villeneuve, Tarantino). Consolidate them into one list/contest.

it really was. Kept me engaged. The lead actors kept me glued to the screen. Very satisfactory ending as well. Ridley Scott nails it yet again.

Reminds me of Coco. Could be a damper on box-office prospects given the lack of novelty.
