I never stopped. LOL I don't wear masks in the theater because we don't have to in my state (as of now). The only limiting factor is the supply of theater worthy films. Shang Chi and Bond are on my near-term to-do list.

Which will gross more, Doctor Strange 2 or The Batman. I have DS2 winning by a hair due to its MCU/multiverse connection.

$40M-$45M OW I also think Bond will be the next $200M grosser.

I think I have Toy Story 3 higher. Probably top 7 and one of the top 2 Pixar masterpieces of all time.

Can't speak for 50 years from now but in the near term, Disney will do just fine. They are the best positioned among all the studios to weather the remaining vestiges of this pandemic and the shift to streaming for feature films. Their IP is gold and the spinoffs of spinoffs are minting more money for them (What If, Book of Boba, etc.).

LOL...when I saw the thread title "Paw Patrol: Not Cancelled" I thought somehow the movie got tangled with the woke police. I feel like the movie is 5 years past the Franchise's apex years though.

Early reviews trend positive. Let's see what happens when the floodgates open in a few days. I'm optimistic...my expectations are lower for post Endgame films but I want them all to do well.

Suicide Squad should have done as good or better than Black Widow. Alas, delta variant and HBO Max simultaneous release.

The second episode was far superior to the first. I was not interested at all in the first episode's premise but the follow up episode? Yea, I can definitely get behind Thanos as just one of the guys. It was awesome!

I loved SS. Much better than the original (which I liked). Up there with the Snyder Cut version of JL as the best DCEU film. I wouldn't mind a sequel but one directed by James Gunn. Enjoyed the Taika cameo. Pleasant surprise. 8.5/10 Things I liked: Comedy - dialogue, creature design, deaths Unashamed introduction to truly ridiculous 'heroes' (Weasel, Shark, etc) Special FX were top notch Action played faithfully grounded to real word physics and natural laws Action scenes Idris Elba Characters were fleshed out enough to care Cons Wish we got more Polka Dot man 😄

This was such a high quality DCEU movie, one that would have made north of $300m pre-pandemic. A shame that it won’t see anywhere near those numbers.

I hope Tom Bombadil is in the series!
