Cloud Atlas is a tough sell and while I like Tom Hanks a lot, his last 2 movies didn't do well in the box office. Ditto Halle Berry who are the faces of Cloud Atlas' marketing campaign. But I hope it could surprise next weekIs there a chance for Frankenweenie to gross 50 million?

It's not just Filipinos though to be fair, just look how Johnny English was a big hit worldwide (except US) last year.I think comedy is all about delivery, timing and chemistry between the actors.I watched This Guy's though and didn't like it and I'm easy to please lol. Also watched Tiktik which has impressive visuals but the story was not good and humor was forced.

We have G, PG 13, R 13, R 16 and R 18. R 16 is just new and was just created because the largest mall chain here does not show R 18 movies because they only want "family friendly" flicks in the cinemas lol.

Surprised it didn't get an R-13 but then again there are no sex(y) scenes in Argo so I guess that's why, F bombs are OK for the local censors as long as it doesn't have sexy/racy scenes lol

Yeah Argo could appeal to under 17 especially the 3rd act which is heart-pounding. The movie is rated PG 13 here so kids can actually see it even if the F bombs are not censored

Yup, well it's from the press release of Star Cinema. I think that one included their international screenings. I think BOM's numbers for local films while not exact are good estimates of the actuals.

Glad to see Perks in the top 10. I wonder what's the budget for this one. I hope under 20 million.Looks like Brave took some of the screens of Finding Nemo 3D. 40 million finish for Nemo 3D is fine although below expectations. I guess Monsters, Inc 3D will gross even less.You just can separate HATES, End of Watch and Trouble With a Curve, they always end up right next to each other lolThe Master is pretty much done I guess.Looper's budget is just 30 million so I'm glad it will be profitable.Impressive for Pitch PerfectIce Age 4 chugging along to $160 million
