Yeah for sure but at least we had a decent entry for the first time in years since Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros which even went as far as getting nominated for an Indie Spirit award

By the way, Bwakaw has been selected as the country's submission for the Foreign Language Film category. I've seen and it's a good choice, if ever the Academy voters sees this one I think they might like it since the lead character it's a character study of an old gay man and how he prepares for his death

Yup some of the slow-mo scenes were shortened. It happened in The Expendables 2 as well. I found some of cuts off but thankfully the movie was strong enough to overcome the sanitizing of the movie here

Yup R-16 but you know the cut could easily qualify as R-13 anyway, that rating was just made to cater to SM cinemas. Yup it's really gory but there are parts that got cut like those exploding heads
