Well considering every other damn post is someone moaning about it flopping it gets to be boring - only difference is the acronym used to describe said floppit. at least there haven't been major derailments those are a an absolute chore to sit through.

Just back from my sold out showing - theater was nuts tonight..... I liked it better than IM3 which considering I thought that was great for a popcorn flick.... Solid B they rushed the ending and some of the emotional core didn't quite gel but this crew has some fine chemistry and I wish we could see them in a limited run tv show version. As for the numbers- I have read this whole thread and the highs/lows made me laugh we have such a finicky bunch on this sight.... Hope that the 28m holds but it will prob drop.

Well recent women centric films have tended to fall heavier on Saturday - biggest example of course being Twilight but, you could look at this from Magic Mikes perspective - great female buzz and most of business on Friday (midnights) relative to the weekend.

Awesome Gatsby number - probably wont get to see it till tomorrow but I'm all for good numbers at te box office. Meh on IM3 though. I think at this point we should be used to Thursday falls as later evening shows are impacted by the 9pm start times for the new movies, more so than midnights ever impacted them.

Well at least 300 wasn't expected to be a big player in the top 15..... unlike JOE last year.... But still, very strange all the musical chair release date crap going on....
