  1. ^ has more to do with the drops - nothing out I the ordinary - comment bout the next couple of weeks referencing that we won't have anything over 1m next week more than likely - while award season runs are nice at this point with films like SLP or ZD30 we can judge with a decent range where they are headed and there isn't much suspense left. Hazards of doing this for nearly 10 years I guess
  2. Typical - so boring the next couple of weeks will be
  3. decent number for Hansel, not the totally terrible film that the reviews made it out to be. The fact that it avoided AbeLVH "serious" style was a major plus. Very enjoyable throw away film for a night out
  4. What the hell! Such a shame that Hooper gets in over Russell let alone QT
  5. It's quite awesome hoping to go again soon since okc proper doesn't have anything similar
  6. Back from Django - our showing was sold out in a 300 seater and the theater was much busier than last weeks holidays....Django was awesome.... better than LeMis but not quite up to Lincoln as far as oscar contenders go
  7. We tried to get directors seating tickets since Wednesday and can't - great theater to offer such things
  8. Good number - here's to hoping LM and DU come in on RtHs high range
  9. Not during the holiday though - average drops in 2007 were between 30 and 35% followed by about 10% on Thursday before minimal increases on Friday / Saturday - obviously as we have seen with hobbit 2007 isn't exact but it's the closest calendar we have to go on
  10. Should pull at least 75 by Sunday night - would have to just implode and not recover to just make 60 for 6 days after 18m od
  11. Just got back from Les Mis - amazing movie but crap directing some of his shots were highly distracting - great performances all around even Russell Crow wasn't bad (obviously could have been better but)
  12. too bad most of the hold overs are being slaughtered in their theater counts tomorrow.... I know that at my regular theater they are doing away with anything pre-skyfall that they still had and only 1 showing for Pi.... but Circ is going from 2 showing to 3 screens and all day screenings so maybe it did well here?
  13. Had hoped the monsters would at least hit 1m - oh well looking forward to seeing it on Saturday
  14. I can't get over how dead the theater is right now - there is no line at all for tickets or concessions and after the craziness of skyfall and Ralph weekends I assumed it would be nuts here and it's just dead like the weekend I saw looper dead.
  15. The mason-Nikki fights were awesome - kind of miss those days in a way And that's great for bond if it holds
  16. Decent numbers all things considered nothing abnormal
  17. So sad at the overall number for Guardians - after seeing it last night it's a beautiful film and will have great wom - probably the best uses of 3D in an animated film and some of the best since Avatar - and I don't care for 3d we just didn't have a choice last night lol
  18. I also think that early Black Friday hurt the movies as well - I mean Walmart opened at tricking 8pm!
  19. Waiting for my sold out showing to start - this is crazy I knew there was a reason I never went to these on opening day
