    Interstellar isn't targeting the same audience so I doubt it'll be a big problem for this.And there's already a DW movie for Thanksgiving so I don't think they'll this on that slot.

    How many films are supposed to be nominated for this year? 3 or 5?Frozen better take the oscar.

    This is Disney and Marvel fans combined. I can see definitely see 150M being the lowest number this can pull off.

    I wonder how the Artemis Fowl project would do. It seems popular back before but the buzz about it has already faded. I'm hoping for a holiday release for it in the coming years to have a great chance of breaking out.

    Gravity is an oscar-bait filmed filled with good buzz starring A-list stars so I don't get the very low predictions of some. It might start modestly but I'm pretty sure (and I hope) its legs will be incredible.

    I wish Disney would strengthen their own films and won't rely too much on Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilms and Dreamworks.

    Reading that very intense and very thrilling direction of the film made me anticipate it. A LOT.

    Fox releasing 6 animated films on 2017. That's just CRAZY. They're looking to step up things on the animation department and it's just too much.

    Ant-Man should move. Other than that I believe MJ and Finding Dory can co-exist on the month. Dory got a very great prime spot at Thanksgiving so it better not move. MJ can probably move a week earlier if that slot is vacant to give some breathing space for both movies.

    Bullock helped on the box office draw of The Heat. Putting all credits to McCarthy is just no.And I can see this having a modest opening followed with great legs.

    It's nice to get details about all the upcoming animated films from Disney! They seem to be broading their appeal very much and don't want to be confined in the "princess" films category. That full-length Paperman style/technique hybrid seems intruiging! And the untitled 2018 film about space racing is quite a risk and I hope they pull it off.

    Disney is first and foremost a family entertainment company, and that's where they succeed by a wide margin. Just look at their animation deparment and the fantasy live actions like Oz and Alice.The lone ranger was trying look edgy and to appeal to the adults more so I guess that was a problem. The bloated budget, bad press even before release and bad word of mouth just made it struggle alot.

    $400M for now. Despicable Me 2 will still its legs for sure. I don't think the college thing would be a great factor because it's a sequel to a popular film. The main draw in here is the already-popular characters and the another adventure they'd be on.
