  4. 93 movies viewed from 2007. Let me explain my reasoning for some of the top movies. I am a fan...a big fan! I saw Spider-man 3 six times, Transformers 5 times, and Harry Potter 3 times. Spider-man makes my top of the list and my most disappointing (from expectations) of the list. Same for Harry Potter 5 (sort of) 1. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix 2. Spider-man 3 3. Michael Clayton 4. Grindhouse 5. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End 6. The Golden Compass 7. 3:10 to Yuma 8. Atonement 9. Juno 10. The Darjeeling Limited 11. Sweeney Todd 12. There Will Be Blood 13. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly 14. No Country for Old Men 15. Ratatouille 16. The Orphanage 17. Lars & the Real Girl 18. Rescue Dawn 19. The Mist 20. Stardust 21. The Bourne Ultimatum 22. I Am Legend 23. Knocked Up 24. Freedom Writers 25. Transformers mentions....Aqua Teen Hunger Force, 300, Sunshine, Disturbia, 28 Weeks Later, Fracture, American Gangster, Charlie Wilson's War, Reign Over Me, Zodiac.
  5. are those some spoilers at the end of page 83??? anyway. I am not trying to Troll, but i am a little disappointed with Logan's OW. Maybe its cuz i predicted 100.0 OW. I thought the trailers were going to resonate for a more massive opening. Oh well, it still sold more tickets than Doctor Strange OW. And my disappointment is suppressed by that amazing Saturday jump. Deadpool's Saturday jump from real Friday was 22.7%. Logan was 33.2%. Lastly, how come Star Trek Beyond could not make the numbers Logan is doing????

  7. Before I Fall - Reserved Seating Report 7:45 ($12.50) 57 people = $712.50 7:45 ($12.50) 26 people = $325.00 8:20 ($12.60) 21 people = $264.60 8:30 ($14.00) 83 people = $1,162.00 8:45 ($12.00) 63 people = $756.00 What to think.... the pricing for reserved seating for here is much higher than avg ticket prices. Also, with my location who knows how to translate this. I think we can conclude it is safe from a terrible 3.0 that it seemed this was headed. Probably upper 3's, 4 if we are lucky. Today, I guess about a 500 per theater average. Almost 1.2

  9. If it follows Deadpool's Friday # pattern it should do 25.9/35.4 for a real Friday per location average of $6,362. Points to an OW of 85-90
  10. what would have been frightening is reading about this on the IMBD message boards. 91%, A.
  11. is there anything to track how a movie does on digital media when it comes out? thankfully the numbers publishes weekly dvd and blu ray sales on the respective weekends but it reports 2 months late! still, glad there is something. Every once in a while I catch a glimpse in an article that a movie like John Wick made alot on digital. But is there any way we can find out how well some of these smaller movies are doing. Billy Lynn??
  12. even if it was the wrong envelope..... I had Moonlight finishing in 5th place. Hidden Figures seemed the be the dark horse. Arrival probably made many #1's and was ranked high up there. Hacksaw Ridge got that long standing ovation at the film festivals. Lion I also had finishing above Moonlight. I wish we could see a breakdown.
  13. wtf... I turned the tv off right after La La Land won. Did not want to hear the boring speech. I come back to this. Im gonna sit on it for a few hours. Maybe i fell and hit my head hard and none of this is real??? if it is true, then I guess that will be good for Moonlight for the box office
