  1. I would if I could. I think just like The Matrix, this was one of those films where they wrote in a lot of stuff that could later be discussed in college papers. Interested to see if The Out-of-Towners did the same thing. it is an interesting thought experiment though about writing reviews for movies. what else is there to review that goes to such great lengths with opinions?? the pen is an interesting tool!!
  2. and of course in today's age, we are all ghostbusters and capable of dealing with sky vandalism and other paranormal encounters. who else is there to call when something don't look right? what would one need to report on that they could not solve themselves or find solutions on the internet.
  3. I surfed all the way through 10 Things I Hate About You (1999) completely for the first time, keeping in mind now that 10 Things was counterprogrammed against The Matrix's first OW, and boy I was not disappointed. I wish I had grown familiar with this one when I was beginning as a teenager. I took bong hits probably 5 times through the movie and realized 10 Things was an excellent movie to open against The Matrix. I must have had a Shakespeare/Love-like resentment before for 10 Things because it was stealing attention away from Matrix and I just downplayed the rom-com as a bland excuse to steer away from Sci-Fi revolutions. Anyways, The-Out-of-Towners opened as counterprogramming against 10 Things and The Matrix too, so I will be interested to see if this one dives as deep as the other 2 did.
  4. I just watched Ghostbusters 2 yesterday and WTF happened to that movie? It felt like a very lazy film. It took the OW record 3 weeks after INDY 3 set the new record, but Ghostbusters 2 had the quality following the hype of something like Twilight 2. The new Ghostbusters (2016) is like a remake of Ghostbusters 2 and it makes me wonder if the original Ghostbusters is that bad too? I don't think I could even find room for a (B-) w/ Ghostbusters 2.

  6. the young girl featured from Transformers: The Last Knight Will be interested to see how far along she has come in her anger
  7. Wow, what a mix this was. Wild Wild West reinvents the 1960s tv show. The setting is 1869 Post-Civil War, the United States is still at war with each other 4 years after the Civil War. President Ulysses Grant succeeds Andrew Johnson's 1865 post-Lincoln term. Further out in the West, Dr. Arliss Loveless and General McGrath meet up with the Eastern powers to fund and construct steam powered robotic tanks that can walk through any city right up to the White House. Their mission is to liberate the United States by dividing it amongst other countries including their alliances. The main character James West from the Union Army has been restructured from a white man to a black man. His origins assumed he was raised free of racial discrimination and now he navigates in a Post-Civil War landscape still at war, on assignment, and with super fast reflexes. He has yet to be introduced with the other main character U.S. Marshall and technological wizard Artemis Gordon. Situational comedy involving sexual innuendos and disposable characters with disposable violence bring them together. They end up on assignment to stop General McGrath's efforts to continue the war and discover he is operating under Dr. Loveless who is untouchable to everyone beneath him which suggests he has been disguised as the peoples God, their conscience, and orchestrator of their future. While investigating, Artemis Gordon rescues a caged Rita Escobar who is part of the kidnapped scientists under Loveless and McGrath and plays as an object for them throughout the movie. The scenes look very expensive, with the comedy and violence looking to 'dig in' and reflect those times during U.S. history. The women that made peace with war and themselves serve as Loveless's henchmen and seem to be ripped from Sucker Punch. The entire movie wastes its time with gags, executions, and introductions, leaving not much for the plot or the action to breathe. This is a movie you have to watch 2-3 times in a row and take note of to capture all of the flavors. 75/100
  8. if internet can assist with molding behavior within cultures, I don't think humans will ultimately go that pure w/ watered down living. we are addicted to too many things outside of ourselves. I think art would be harder to achieve under their guidelines, but I don't know what the New Puritans are
  9. I think my chronic fatigue syndrome is autism spectrum related. Can't deal with dogs barking. Always have felt disgusting about myself around other people.
  10. is this what 'just another summer day' looks like?
