    Naw. It's probably going to follow DH1 numbers. Slight Saturday increase and then a regular drop Sunday. 67.5 44 29 140.5 (If OD numbers hold)

    really? Theyve had IMAX in the marketing pretty claerly. Jena Malone and Sam have been pretty up and front as the new characters. You havent been paying attention if you didnt know about that. 180-200m was never a realistic opening for this movie considering: Number 1-it wasnt in 3d number 2- its a sequel number 3-Its in November Lionsgate put on an excellent marketing campaign, IMO. Fangurls expecting 200m were delusional, plain and simple. Bye.

    i doubt it as well. But i dont think we'll see midnight records being broken anymore. Day records are up for grabs though.

    Midnight/Preview numbers dont tell the story of the opening weekend, they're mostly just for record books. Catching Fire didnt set a new record but that's still fantastic number.

    I think it pretty clearly indicates that Hollywood execs and these boxoffice predictors dont care about researching films for women, black or hispanic. Yes they do go to the movies and its not surprising. If anyone thinks only white fanboys are giving superhero films these big box office revenues then they're delusional.
