  1. It's surprising to see Annabelle remains fresh on RT, climbing from the edge of rotten/ fresh to 67% now, audiences percentage is promising as well. While it will be decreasing WW, I think WB still make a handful profit off a 27m budget.
  2. Pikachu and Godzilla are holding well, already surpass Maoyan prediction for today!
  3. I read reviews on Douban for KOTM seems mostly at 3/5, a bit worrying. 7.1 currently 🤔
  4. I would say quite decent but the sneak preview from 25-29/5 might work differently.
  5. 14 days to release; Preview 25/5: 156k (261 sessions) Midnight: 608.9k OD: 2.1m (42014 sessions) +31.25% Sat: 1.24m Sun: 970k
  6. Let’s go with 350! If that A+ CinemaScore turns to be helpful, including good hold OS in second weekend, Avatar might be shaken. Pikachu might do good on its own probably at #2 70m OW.
  7. The number stops at 94.98m since 855pm till now while P Storm keeps increasing. I guess 30m opening weekend, 50m total run?
  8. I’m going to catch this tomorrow and it seems some GA in Asian countries including certain of my friends don’t like it. Some of my friends give 5.9/10, some 3/10, some 0/10 (wtf), though there’s also 4/5 as well. Some of them go in expecting CBM style films like those of another franchise, AQM and WW but based on trailers and reviews, while I do respect others’ opinion, I think I should go in expecting a rare family friendly superheroes film.
  9. On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds an approval rating of 96% based on 21 reviews, with an average rating of 7.68/10.[86]On Metacritic, the film has a weighted averagescore of 78 out of 100, based on 14 critics, indicating "generally favorable reviews".[87]
  10. It’s still empty. But I managed to read the consensus by clicking DCEU franchise with list of other films. Guess it’s around 40 reviews.
  11. Critics Consensus: An effortlessly entertaining blend of humor and heart, Shazam! is a superhero movie that never forgets the genre's real power: joyous wish fulfillments.
  12. So fast 7 pages. A date, Christopher Nolan and no further details is enough, more than enough to make a big news for this quiet weekend 😱
