If follow JR, fish boy will be at 14.6m. With premium formats for the last weekend, 15.5m seems low.

If follows JR, which it has been following and at a better hold, it may reach 221m by 1/1. JR made another 55% from its total gross as of New Year (51m) to 80m. AQ just needs to make another 37% from 221m (if it reaches that number on New Year) to close 300m. However will still stick with 270-280m.

Yeah I guess so. Last highest grossing WB film in my home country is BvS at RM 31+m. James Wan’s F7 was the biggest and the only film to reach RM60m until Infinity War took the crown with RM68m. It’s great to see another Wan’s film to be such big here. His name might be another factor for the success of Aquaman in Asia.

Confirmed. Aquaman has become the biggest WB film in Malaysia (RM32.6m = 7.7m USD).

Not sure about WW as BOM stops updating numbers for WB films here. Unless it’s breaking out, there will be numbers like Aquaman reported on local/ international websites. JL did 6.4m USD = RM27+ mil I assume WW did 5m USD = RM21+ mil BVS did 7.5m USD = RM31+ mil Aquaman did 5.2m USD as of Thursday = RM21.7 mil, looking to be biggest WB records soon If TDK release now, it would be huge too. Highest grossing film is AIW at 17.3m USD = RM68 mil, surpassing previous record holder Fast 7 as the second film to cross RM60 mil.

Come on, this opening number is fine. Just back from another session. This session had a lot of families. A father asked his daughter: Is the movie exciting? Daughter: Absolutely exciting and thrilling. Then another son brought his old parents, both father and mother at age 60+ enjoyed it. Second weekend now and the cinema was super crowded till I gave up buying popcorn.
