  1. Why should he pay them when he can get his lawyers to get him off, then sue them for more money!
  2. Ridiculous prices here easily add up to more than the ticket! But then if people like going for the "movie experience", tight-ass Tuesday is the day to go!

  4. It makes it soo expensive if you get food..I look at it this way: a visit with 1 ticket + popcorn and drink = 2 visits...I'd much rather have two separate visits.
  5. I try to see most movies (that I think will be good) in cinemas.. So generally 6 or so per month..Costs me anywhere from $75-$150 per month depending on the format, location and any specials I get through various loyalty programs.
  6. Can someone explain Djangos gross? The chart says for the weekend 24-28 which includes public holiday Monday, however the international report (which is released Monday morning Sydney time) says USD4.2m..Did it have previews? Or is it a mistake with that chart? How did it do AUD3.8m Th-Mo and GTD be $5.4m?
  7. Oh and I said 'slaughterED' - it's already happened. 'SlaughterING' would make one assume TH is still being beaten - it never stood a chance after it opened.
  8. I wouldn't call $34m disappointing...Be careful...some people might think you're a troll (refer to AUS thread)
  9. And as for trolling... please, if I was such a troll I wouldn't still be around after over 3 years.
  10. Casino Royale & QoS: $32mLOTR: $46-49mSkyfall: will end with approx $49m in 2DThe Hobbit: will end with approx $44m in 3DGiven history of franchises and ticket prices, I, personally, would call that slaughtered.
  11. I love how Skyfall SLAUGHTERED The Hobbit! It's friggen awesome!!
  12. Thought you all might have liked the Nemo one
  13. On a better note, yesterday should've been pretty hectic across Sydney given the weather. Is it too much to expect at least $1m from Django for Monday alone?
  14. No parts of the country can catch a break!Whether its extreme heat, bush fires, flooding or Tornadoes, nobody is having good weather at the moment.
  15. USD4.2m OW for Django - phenomenal!USD1.1m OW for The Impossible.
  16. For some stuuupid reason I though the title meant 25m Friday.. I was major WTF-ing!!Meh numbers for a meh-looking movie.
  17. 8/10 - seems like the kind of guy I'd be friends with.
