    It's true, if anybody deserves a supporting actor nom in mr banks it's Farrell or Giamatti (both had much cleaner character arcs and depth than Hanks)

    She was and I know it's an very well crafted movie, but let's just say I'm with the real PL Travers on those dancing penguins. (That's the big thing I didn't like about SMB, it wasn't honest about Travers thoughts on the movie after she saw if, she hated it.

    Same here, and while I respect Mary Poppins, the movie just doesn't do much for me. I would watch SMB again over Mary Poppins any day

    I would actually respect Depp a bit if he was honest and said, "Yeah I don't care anymore", instead of BS'ing about how critics just don't get him as Tonto, like he did earlier this year....

    If I picked the 10 best picture nominees I would have nominated it.

    If it doesn't, then that is some heavy injustice. People forgot to mention Saving Mr. Banks which hasn't got a lot of mentions, but I am fairly confident that it's in.

    If that happens it's Argo all over again.... I'm really disappointed Inside Llewyn Davis got shut out from the guilds, sure it will probably get a picture nod (hopefully, if it doesn't that's one of the biggest picture snubs in a very long time), but it's not going to be competing. Also, either Greengrass or Scorsese are probably not going to get nominated, I am hoping Greengrass drops and Coen Brothers get in, but it'll probably be Payne or if the Academy goes big on Fruitvale like Beasts than Coogler.

    I don't see how the footage is gone, and at least have a cut where Vader doesn't scream no.

    I'm waiting for Disney to release an original cut on Blu-Ray, it's only a matter of time because money is ensured.

    Xbox One...Oh wait despite what Microsoft said, playing games is impossible without Xbox Live so no Xbone playing for me.

    There's still early hype building, and there is a TON of early hype building for Episode 7, yet there isn't much mention of Avatar 2 in the general public yet. Avatar was a phenomenon, for that reason alone Avatar 2 will have a steep drop from the original despite being successful.

    Decently positive, but not overwhelmingly, it's reviews are a bit above AUJ.

    No, I can go back to the quote, you said, "It got a positive reception from everyone."It did not get a positive reception from everyone or even close to that, there are a good number of people who really hate what Hackson has done with it.

    I can't see avatar 2 opening 150m plus though, in December of all months. I have trouble seeing Star Wars 7 opening that high and there is much more hype for that than Avatar 2.

    You said it had positive reception from everyone and that's not true. There is a strong sect of people who despise it and it's growing larger.

    Yes, but who's going to actually see I, Frankenstein in IMAX? It even see it at all?

    Not everyone, it's not at a 100% on anything and it's reception is only barely better than AUJ which isn't impressive.I consider it a turd though, I wrote an entire review talking about why the movie was wrong and represented everything wrong in the filmmaking industry today.

    Hey, it nearly lost to Frozen last week, so it doesn't have the embarrassment of that. Besides, if they are embarrassed, they deserve it for releasing the turd that is Desolation of Smaug.

    I saw the trailer for Transcendence and wow, Johnny Depp actually looked fairly tame to how he's been lately. Johnny Depp is a great actor when he's tame, but when he goes Jack Sparrow it only works when he's Jack Sparrow...

    So i'd expect drops next weekend to be softer than normal?

    I'd say Avatar 3 will be below 1.5b, Avatar 2 might be able to be above it.
