  1. Yeah, I nearly put Malekith on my list, but I figured just forgettable was better than a villain that just stuck out as bad to me.
  2. I count Gravity as a blockbuster (but im happy it was number 1), but besides that it's been all hunger games, star trek, and comic books.
  3. I'm conflicted, while a Shyamalan film (especially Last Airbender) definitely deserves a spot, so does an Adam Sandler film. It's just not a worst of all time list without Shyamalan or Sandler.
  4. I have too, and I put Sucker Punch, 300, and Man of Steel all on my list simply because I can't stand Snyder at all.
  5. You were the reason Citizen Kane made the list and you're complaining that sucker punch and 300 are on it? I'm kind of sad movies like Master of Disguise, all of Adam Sandler's movies, North, etc. missed out.
  6. All three of those deserve their spot 100%. However 300 is worse than Man of Steel.
  7. Yeah, when I went it was all 20+, and most of the people I know have either disliked it or found it very flawed (with a couple of fans of it).
  8. I wouldn't say it's a mainstream movie, or it wasn't intended to be mainstream, it just clicked right with the audience and broke out into the mainstream.
  9. Yeah, most of the movies that are my favorites this year I didn't see coming until they were here. (Gravity, Inside Llewyn Davis, The Spectacular Now, 12 Years a Slave, Frozen, etc.)
  10. Thankfully I saw Inside Llewyn Davis in time so I can nominate it, not going to make it official till I actually make my list, but I believe it might be my favorite of the year.
  11. Ummmm, why is Please, Mr. Kennedy not eligible? That kind of pisses me off considering how fantastic that song is.
  12. There was an entire 90 page club for it man.
  13. True, everybody knew Frozen would be a hit, just not THIS big of a hit (or anywhere near this big). While Gravity practically nobody saw it coming. (Although I was always in the 100m+ group)
  14. I will say, Blockbuster wise 2014 looks much more interesting than 2013, there's more interesting looking options. (Edge of Tomorrow, Godzilla, Jupiter Ascending, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Mockingjay Part 1)
  15. Same, I don't see much sticking out for 2014 so far, yet I thought the same thing last year when I looked at 2013 and it's been one of the best years for movies in a very long while. I'm excited for Sundance though, so many awesome movies come out of Sundance. (plus lots of great breakouts come from there)
  16. I think on the 15th, i'd actually say do yourself a favor and don't spoil yourself on the music. Because it adds a great effect when it's your first time hearing the song, I spoiled myself on Please Mr. Kennedy so the scene wasn't as funny as it was for the people who hadn't seen the scene yet. I know Inside Llewyn Davis won't win the Oscar, but it's my dark horse for the win (similar to Life of Pi last year, which nearly took the title, if only they hadn't snubbed Affleck in director!)
  17. I saw Inside Llewyn Davis and the more I think about it the more I like it. I am definitely going to go see it again when expands nationwide.
