Trek just can't get an audience OS. It's really flabbergasting, every shit action movie does as much or more. Two really well produced, critically acclaimed, big budget "spectacles" and pretty much nobody cares. One of the biggest mysteries of the 21. century. These grosses are so low, even the stigma that is supposedly attached to the franchise doesn't explain it, at least not fully.

What's wrong with you? In my post you responded to i didn't ridicule it not grossing $100m. There's a lot of doubt about it grossing $100m on a normal 3-day. Memorial Day is an inflated weekend.
