  1. Pros of doing 3 movies at once, no need to pay thrice for many things. Same with Hobbit.
  2. Idk about misunderstanding, probably that's the case. But I'm sure it's possible to work with just storyboards and whatnot with a lot of dialogue improv.
  3. My source is a friend who visited WDAS for the screening and asked people around, it's not something that they are hiding. I don't know why they made the movie like that, though. Idk, IM1 was pretty good. It doesn't say much about the final product.
  4. Doesn't look too bad, but the animation style is too similar to other Disney cgi outings at the moment. Baymax is funny, though. Not feeling the main dude. Btw, apparently the movie was done without a script, like Iron Man 1. Also, dat Hans
  5. The friend in question is an artist in a studio 1st Playable Productions, which often makes Disney tie-in games. He also worked as a game designer on Olaf's Quest. His whole team was invited to see the movie some time ago in WDAS. And I have no reason to doubt his opinion. So, chases they are. Something like Frozen's wolves chase, I imagine.
  6. Some info from a friend who already saw the movie at a private screening. Spoilers, obviously:
  7. http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/nailbiter111/news/?a=102757 New character posters. I must say that they look horrible. Why Wasabi is a black man with dreads? Gogo looks the worst out of a bunch. Costumes look cheap and bad, like a child's toy.. What is this, a cheap Dreamworks movie? It has "only for kindergarteners" written all over it. Come on, wdas, why do you do this. Still optimistic, but not hyped.
  8. Transformers and Hobbit are fated to get past 1b, but maybe some other super hit will appear out of nowhere. GotG, perhaps?
  9. I think Dragon will reign supreme this year. BH6 looks interesting, though and it's apparently more of a drama than comedy, with rare action (and all of it are chases, typical disney). It's almost certainly not up to scale of HTTYD2, and I doubt anything will approach it in years to come. But I'm optimistic about BH6.
  10. Damn. Is it time to just merge words "impressive" and "sales" when it comes to Frozen?
  11. So, 200m in Japan is a lock now? Looks like my sacrifice wasn't for nothing.
  12. I remember betting that i'd braid my hair if Frozen gets 200m in Japan. Well, looks like it can do that and i already cut my hair. But, i'm a man of my word and i held my part of the bet before that. Sorry for the shitty quality, it looked better irl.
  13. Anywhere i can see the chart and total copies sold?
  14. Is there any place where i can see a list of OS all-time grosses?
  15. Some photos from a launch celebration event. It really bothers me that all the focus is on Elsa. Come on, it's a movie equally about both sisters. How hard it is to feature them both? Or it's another one of Disney's surprise tactics? Then it makes sense, so people would be surprised by Anna's sophisticated grace.
  16. Then you better hope it will pass this 200m milestone
  17. I'm ready to make a wager. If Frozen will make 200m in japan, i will braid my hair in Elsa's style and post it for everybody to laugh at. I'm a guy with a long hair.

  19. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=PTk4yK4oVas New video about Frozen from a Japanese TV.
  20. Definitely one of the best Disney classic animated movies. Great songs, entertaining story. And who doesn't like Hercules, anyway? Also, second best villain. Hades is just too damn good.
