Don't think his films are hated per se, but his Twitter account and vibes online scream slacktivism and faux-progressive, at least to me. His attempts at trying to sound woke sound hypocritical from a guy whose filmography consists of whiny man children and high-strung girlfriends putting up with their garbage. But I guess it's not worse compared to other celebs.

I mean Republicans and homophobes were obviously never going to turn up for this? Why would Eichner’s political opinions matter when the people he’s going after are repulsed by anything with icky gay stuff in it?

Very hard to find other reactions, because this title is not easy to search for on Twitter.

Deadline top 10 I know Woman King is doing objectively good and fine, but it feels like its holds are just kinda standard for a well-reviewed awards contender and not really as exciting as the A+ Cinemascore once indicated. Am I expecting too much maybe?
