  1. @TMP @MCKillswitch123 Our boy Dan Murrell just clapped back towards Grace Randolph lmao
  2. I still don't get why Disney has a movie theater on Disney World property. I guess Disney doesn't care, but what kind of dummy wastes precious park time over something they can already do at home?
  3. Of course on the flipside, I don't know how this Barbie movie can top the Barbie and Ken in Toy Story 3. Jodi Benson and Michael Keaton rocked in those roles
  4. If they're looking for a Ken, I know somebody who would be perfect for the role. He's worked with Gerwig twice already, and he passes the half plus 7 rule when it comes to Robbie.
  5. Looks alright, but the lack of Egerton and Firth really diminishes a lot of the hype for me.
  6. I thought that "Austin Butler" name sounded familiar. And turns out he used to do a lot of Disney Channel and Nickelodeon work back in the day lol
  7. Care to explain why you think it will be interesting, thanks to some fancy numbers?
  8. For me, the issue over TLK's IM comes down to its preview size. If it really does hit 20M+, that is a large amount of demand already taken care of. Sure, it won't play out like a Marvel, SW, or HP joint, but it's still a lot of money being made and a large chunk of its target audience satisfied. Especially since we're in the peak summer season, there's going to be more kids flocking to see it on Thursday, and while there will still be a big chunk of kids during the weekend, it's not going to be as large as, say, Beauty and the Beast which opened in the spring. And yeah, Incredibles 2 managed to do 9.875x off its preview in the middle of summer with an 18.5M preview haul, but that also had Father's Day to inflate its IM, which Lion King won't have. I dunno, I think 8-10x is the range we're going for, with the lower and higher end all dependent on early audience reception.
  9. The Lion King Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-4 Days and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 105 3,588 19,193 18.69% Total Seats Sold Today: 317 So to put things into perspective, this was the last 5 days: 267, 257, 305, 241, 317. So we went from up, down, way up, way down, and way up again. Oh Jon Favreau, why must you play with my emotions? Nah but for real though, a lot of this jump does have to do with it now being the Sunday before release. People bought their tickets for movies this weekend already, now people are gearing up for the new biggie. But of course, it's only one data point, and we've still got four more days to go before the movie comes out. But right now, I think it's on the right foot at the moment. But let me just say that this kind of "up down" nonsense this past week was acceptable this week, but if tomorrow even just does 316...yeah, we might be in for a rude awakening.
  10. @MrPink we really need your input on this. 🤔

Seems like yesterday was an overperformance, as today came down to Earth and back to the levels of Wednesday and Thursday. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but I'll definitely admit that I would have preferred if the movie stayed closer to 305.
