From a raw numbers perspective, starting from a really high 464, that seems like a fantastic jump. Again, I have no comps, but 731 tickets is still 731 tickets.

tbh if I wanted to produce a live-action Lion King, I would have gotten Julie Taymor to do it and have her re-create her vision from the Broadway show, costumes and all. It would make way less money, but it'd be cool.

If you go on Thursday, you'll experience its magic on the big screen in surround sound (y'know, if you actually get it and Uni doesn't do Trolls 2 or whatever)

Very odd fellow he is. The only movies he ever seems to watch or talk about are Disney movies, yet he lives in a constant fear of every Disney movie underperforming. Homeboy really out here worrying if Bob Iger can pay for his big yacht that holds all of his smaller yachts.

But is a 46% jump from yesterday good enough for 20M previews or higher? I don't know, but we'll see. At the very least, it is chugging along and selling briskly. Current showtimes that had been empty are starting to fill up, and tomorrow will have a whole slew of new showings to help boost up these numbers. I'm optimistic over the next couple days
