  1. FFH: +44% TS4: +49% Very strong jumps for both. inb4 the Wednesday thread sees meltdowns
  2. Yeah, it's all been 3D shows. The forum likes to blame Disney for everything wrong in the world, so I'm going to assume Disney is forcing theaters to give Lion King all the 3D shows, and that's the only argument I'll accept...I don't make the rules here.
  3. Hobbs & Shaw Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-23 Days and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 23 56 4,812 1.39% Total Showings Removed: 3 Total Seats Removed: 11 @Porthos A couple more showtimes got removed from the schedule. And tbh, I wouldn't be surprsied if a couple more got taken down, as you still have showtimes that are "up", but can't be accessed. What is Universal doing lmao
  4. The Lion King Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-9 Days and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 102 2,201 18,457 11.93% Total Seats Sold Today: 166 So it did sell less than yesterday, but 166 is still very good. Only about a 9% drop from the tickets sold minus the showtime I might have neglected. Again, can't do any comps, but it is still selling a healthy amount I think.
  5. Stuber Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-2 Days and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 26 75 3,174 2.36% Total Showings Added: 2 Total Seats Added: 6 Again, I don't have anything to work with, but 6 tickets after one day doesn't seem very good. Don't want to say doom and gloom just yet, but this is looking to open pretty soft. Mixed reviews won't help it either.
  6. Crawl Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-2 Days and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 26 87 3,540 2.46% Total Showings Added: 4 Total Tickets Sold Today: 32 Again, don't have any comps to go off of, but that seems like an okay increase at first glance? At the very least, it had a much better jump compared to Stuber. Guess those early Twitter reactions helped?
  7. Those #s added together equal to 7.19.
  8. Fun fact: this Quibi mentioned here was developed by Jeffrey Katzenberg, in his attempt to create a new streaming service that is "mobile-only" and "focused on quick bites" aka "chapters" of 10 minutes or less...just typing that sentence made me want to barf.
  9. For DOM, I'm gonna go bold and say Eternals, even if it's still in pre-production. I just feel like Chloe Zhao has something special there. WW will go to...I guess F&F9?
  10. @TMP apparently DC Universe will still live? Trash. https://io9.gizmodo.com/warnermedia-s-newly-named-streaming-service-will-not-ch-1836219061
  11. I'm very confused on them promoting Crimes of Grindelwald out of all the Potter movies. I thought WarnerMedia wants to sell their streaming service.
  12. Wonder Woman making less than 400M isn't as crazy as you guys might think. For every Dead Man's Chest, there's a Deadpool 2.
  13. Best not to go to Snyder Twitter. 'Tis a silly place. (Also didn't know people called it Josstice League lmao)
  14. I used to love watching Red vs. Blue with my brother when we were younger.
  15. Oh wait, Variety says this will have Crunchyroll (and Rooster Teeth) https://variety.com/2019/digital/news/warnermedia-hbo-max-friends-exclusive-streaming-1203262335/ Dang, WB is not playing when it comes to the streaming war. It's kind of sad that Disney vs. WB in streaming is looking to be more entertaining than Disney vs. WB in the box office.
  16. To be fair, Berlanti already signed up for an exclusive TV deal with WB a few months ago. In fact, Love Simon and the upcoming Free Guy are the only things Berlanti has done as a writer/producer that wasn't from WB IIRC
  17. btw, if DC Universe is being absorbed, is that also happening to stuff like Crunchyroll and Boomerang?
  18. Disney is still making movies in both theaters and for their streaming service. It's not that big of a deal.
  19. Also Netflix just tweeted this. They did the same tweet for The Office too. It's kind of funny how Netflix is weirdly obligated to make tweets like these.
  20. Hold up they got Happy Feet on there? Sold!
