  1. https://deadline.com/2018/07/indiana-jones-5-2021-release-date-mary-poppins-returns-dwayne-johnson-jungle-cruise-1202423959/ Releasing on October 11, 2019.
  2. Who doesn't think a movie that features Meryl Streep, Christine Baranski, and Julie Walters singing and dancing to Dancing Queen is perfection incarnate?
  3. Look, I know you love the Cruise Missile, but I don't think we need to get worried here. Mission: Impossible ain't gonna be a movie that's reliant on presales, and female-driven films like Mamma Mia sometimes generate big presales (Fifty Shades as an example). Mamma Mia's also closer to release, which generally leads to more ticket sales. Take a breather, think about things for a minute, and recognize that everything's fine.
  4. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=newlinetentpole2018.htm Rampage is now only less than $20K away from reaching $99M. Will be fun to see when the film crosses $100M, in a couple of weeks with TTG double features, or possibly Skyscraper double features next week (The movie saw a jump when Jurassic World came out, and I don't think it's a stretch to say, since both are monster movies, WB negotiated with some theaters to place their film next to the dinos)

  7. Y'know, for people who seem to complain about how out of touch the Academy is, and how y'all don't care about the Oscars, you guys sure are talking quite a lot over something you "don't care" about.
  8. If it was under Comcast, I'd say Searchlight would be in more danger than if under Disney. Focus basically follows the same role that Searchlight does, and I don't see why Comcast would want to keep two of the same thing.
  9. ...what's a Shadman? Actually, I don't think I want to know.
  10. Ant-Man and the Wasp 8:15 PM in one of the smaller auditoriums, about 20% full Trailers (a group of teenage boys were talking amongst themselves throughout all of the trailers, because everyone under the age of 18 are cancer incarnate): Mission: Impossible - Fallout (Simon Pegg introduced the trailer, mild murmurs, I'm getting sick of that trailer being in front of everything) The Spy Who Dumped Me Creed II (chatter, louder than some of the other ones) A House with a Clock in its Walls (one of the kids sounded like he was into it) The Meg ("It's like Jaws on steroids") The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (This got a touch of a reaction) Dumbo Movie got some laughs, but nothing really major. Heard an "oh no" at one of the car chases. A couple of gasps at the mid-credits scene. The teenagers mentioned to each other they thought it was good. Movie's aight I guess.
