As long as Toho lets this play through December it’ll easily cross 40m -
Im feeling like the Sunday -1 number is just a tad low. It’s selling very well today.

Beyoncé pausing showtimes for 3 days is confusing. What’s the reason if anyone know? I feel like it just stops in progression. Made -1 look good though sooooooo.

Yeah everyone needs to remember the yen is super weak right now. If -1 can make it to 5 billion yen that’s really really good even if the conversion is only like 34m usd. If the yen wasn’t so weak this would probably end up making more than Shin Godzilla worldwide in usd. In yen what’s the total between the two Shins and Minus One at this point? -

He upped is prediction a little bit for -1 but the drop still seems too high? It’s even keeping the same amount of theaters? Unless Wednesday and Thursday start dropping super hard I don’t see how it can drop like that with its wom. Which is crazy because I would have been over the moon a week ago if someone said it would gross 20m total. Now i want to see this go for 30m. -
I’m sure that laugh immediately stopped once that scene ended though as everyone noticed something wasn’t right

Theaters have extended to the 14th it looks like. We’ll see what happens after that but would seem odd to pull it.

Um yeah…. I got out of watching Minus One today to watch this trailer and….. the tonal difference was really something.

I know it’s not going to lose all its theaters next week but at the moment -1 is losing a lot next week. To me this makes no sense. Hopefully theaters extend its run because there’s nothing to lose with where the state of the box office is. im going to a afternoon show and it’s packed.

At the moment -1 is just running to next Thursday. My question is, with the state of the box office, and with this particular film doing pretty good and has good wom.. wouldn’t it be odd for Toho to not extend its run? There’s nothing to lose

I mean -1 has more showings than yesterday and they’re all selling pretty good around me. 10m seems definitely in play. Let that WOM spread.

Toho has already said that expectations are not for this to hit Shin Godzilla numbers in Japan. Shin Godzilla was a different beast all together. That being said, like was said before the yen is very weak right now so going by usd amount in Japan is already foolish. -1 however will be a much bigger success overseas than Shin Godzilla.
