Was just going by what the tax rebates are in the states. Between 25-40% which would give it a net of 40-50m. Probably land somewhere in the middle. So if the movie ends up with 130-150m ww it's made more than enough .

Was actually mostly filmed in Georgia. Either way you'd be looking at a net of around 40-50m.

just remember The Mummy presales were almost non existent (something like 12% of Alien Covenant) and still opened to 32m despite being the most trashed worst reviewed movie of the summer.

Did some math and unless it really breaks out somewhere it's running towards around 91m.

I thought snatched was fine, but then again I watched it on dvd not theaters.

Apparently at the last minute it got pulled from the biggest theater chain in Mexico because of some dispute which really hurt it there. Also bigger drop in UK this weekend due to lots of competition. Opened ahead of JR2 in Italy but below in France, needs really good holds in France to match JR2. I've never seen a RT rating drop so much. Was at something like 8.5+ from 20+ reviews and now it's down to 6.6. It's almost like now that the public hate the movie the critics are okay with being harsher on it.

I absolutely loved here in Winters Bone and she was good in Silver Lining. She's fine in the the hunger games movies, but in everything else she stands out in a bad way in my opinion. I've never seen someone get worse as their career progresses like this before. Haven't seen Mother yet so I can't say how she is in it, but I'm already reading she's miscast again which if true how many times can we use the miscast excuse before we just acknowledge it's her.

Given her performance in 7 of her last 9 pictures it would seem they've been challenging for a while.

Anyone know when American Made releases? Also, any chance of it hitting 10m total?

I like Lawrence in a couple of movies but I wouldn't call myself a fan. Still I want this to do well because I like seeing original movies doing well at the box office.

This is and The Sword in the Stone are the only live action reboots I want.

Still looking forward to seeing this. Not this weekend, but sometime soon hopefully.
