Why not, the whole movie basically took place in 3 rooms, had meh CGI, short run time, and nothing was shot on location except for 2 short scenes. Nothing points at it having a bigger budget than the 140m for ghost protocol and 150m for rogue nation.
Lets assume they get 40% of international and 55% of domestic. So for Captain America which cost 140m that would mean 96.8m domestic and 77m international for total of 175m . Assuming Mummy which cost 125m makes 70m domestic and everything else international it breaks down as 38.5 + 132 = 170.5m.
If we decide to use 30% for international than Captain America ends up with 96.8 + 57.9 = 157m with the movie costing 140m. And Mummy would come to 38.5m + 99m = 137m for a movie that cost 125m.Either way both movies end up making a similar numbers theatrically compared to their budget.
Like I said, if it makes 400m it would be as profitable as first avenge and and Batman Begins which if we use the same 55% + 30% break down would end up with 163m from a 150m budget
I don't condone piracy, but your screw your high horse attitude. The ONLY thing I ask is that studio's advertise the movie for what it is.
Also, calling someone on sack of shit online because you don't agree with them over something cinema related, really? I think your little purple colored name and karma score has gone to your head.
This mission is already getting more publicity than all previous mission movies. this is why when Cavil got added I said this one would be the highest grossing. Not because of Cavil's bo draw, but because Cavil will bring extra attention to the online community, something that lacked from the previous entries.
I saw Van Helsing in theaters drunk, fell asleep in the first 5 minutes and woke up when it was finished. Tried watching it another 5 times since, but I just fall alseep every time. I think I trained my brain to associate Van Helsing with sleep and thus I have never seen the movie.
