definitely agree the last bit where he's going crazy is better. I still like the stupid stuff about how important business cards are and how wrong everyone is about which Huey Lewis album is the best and his videotapes excuse etc. because it's all so meaningless and stupid. All that stuff is completely meaningless and a load of crap but I would be lying if I said I don't find tearing someone apart with a chainsaw while listening to Huey Lewis, amusing.

Cant beat Shrek 2s adjusted 190M opening weekend Of course, Dory is just behind.... behind Shrek 3's 163M opening weekend. -
You're damn right. I still think it's fun though. Don't understand anyone who thinks Patrick Bateman is a good character or that it's a really deep film like Fight Club and seven and all that rubbish that film students say because they think they're cool.

I just opened Steam and there's a Dark Souls remaster been released lmao. £35? And the description says "experience the game now running at 60fps" how utterly pathetic. The original ran fine you just had to download a fix. This is the most pathetic moneygrabbing attempt from major developer that Ive seen in a while.

Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)
Avatree replied to Ezen Baklattan's topic in Review That Movie! (Spoilers Allowed)
Alden Ehrenthing was actually really good and made it his own. And by the end I could definitely see him as a young Harrison Ford in certain ways. The whole "check your expectations at the door" is sort of true, but I left my expectations at the door after TFA came out. I think if youre like me and have accepted that these new films are not the old films, then there's a lot of fun to be had. I liked the twists and there were some nice gestures. It's not clear that it's two films spliced together in ways that other films with "production issues" have resulted, which I guess is because of how much of the film was reshot. If anything, the stuff that I would guess has remained from Lord & Miller is the worst thing in the film. That character is just really poorly written and the humour is pretty crass, toilet jokes are not funny to begin with and feel completely out of place in Star Wars. If that's what the rest of the original film was like then I'm glad Ron Howard took over. He's done a good job. Donald Glover does a good impersonation. Not much else to say other than that the film put a grin on my face pretty much from beginning to end. Think this is the best one of the new films so far. -
Yes sequel set up but don't you think could also be a set up for the Obi-Wan film? I would guarantee Obi-Wan is gonna be fighting Maul in that film. I'm glad I am not the only person who thought that... when Woody looks at her, I thought it was that he realises it's his daughter. Also agree it was a wasted opportunity, didn't need them to be setting up rebel stuff I'm perfectly happy to stay with there being marauder pirates etc what pansexuality lmao? I haven't heard about that. He chats up a woman in this movie and he may or may not have a relationship with a droid. yeah, really. Kira asks the droid "how does that... work?" to which the droid replies - "It works." don't even want to think about it TBH Credits say Ray Park but I think it was motion capture. If you can survive Marvel films teasing famous villains you can live with it in Star Wars. it's not in your face at all, the scene felt very natural, was a good scene, and it didn't even occur to me that it was Han Shot First until my friend mentioned it afterwards. what you on about? What kind of person who watches a Star Wars film does not know who Darth Maul is? Like you know this entire film is based on an existing character RIGHT? Besides, theres a film that just came out that everyone is raving about where you have to watch the previous eighteen films to understand like anything at all, and you're whining about a brief fanservice cameo in this one? Also, no one understood the Palpatine cameo in Empire Strikes Back unless they had watched the prequels. At the end? Warwick Davies appeared pretty early on to be fair. There's not actually a whole lot to discuss about the film. I enjoyed it a lot but it didn't have me scratching my head or gasping in shock. Its just a good movie.

when Diane Keaton and Andy Garcia go to his retreat and she says something like, "Wow, look at the scenery. it's so beautiful" I laughed way too loudly.

No one's gonna fight you on that because we all know it's true.
