  1. None of the superhero-powered stars can. Not even the highest paid actor in the world... (hence, it's all about characters and brands themselves rather than actors' names)
  2. Interesting that this isn't a prequel. Anyway Jackson's film is a near perfect masterpiece so ain't gonna be topped no matter how good this is. Hopefully it still manages to explore some interesting ideas
  3. 1. The Jungle Book - 398M 2. Captain America: Civil War - 372M 3. Finding Dory - 336M 4. Batman v. Superman - 335M 5. Moana - 311M 6. Rogue One - 288M 7. Ghostbusters - 267M 8. X-Men Apocalypse - 260M 9. Warcraft - 241M 10. Alice Through the Looking Glass - 232M
  4. Cars 3 will not be "far off", wasn't the first Cars something like Disney's most profitable single movie ever?
  5. Warcraft is more likely to gross over 500M in China alone, than gross under 500M worldwide. Anyway I wasn't talking only about the 300+ domestic juggernauts.
  6. I was going to say PR2 but its a bit more risky. Though you're probably right, China will be massive. Warcraft and Pacific Rim will be devoured by the Chinese... bearing in mind the #1 US movie ever in China is a Universal film, they are on their way to great Chinese success.
  7. in the next few years, Uni has Warcraft, Pets, DM3, Furious 8, PP3, Jurassic Park 5, Bourne 5, Fifty Shades 2 & 3 (okay wont be big domestic, but huge OS), King Kong, another Dr Seuss... plenty of space for success.
  8. I've been hearing quite a lot of anticipation from general audience members about LEGEND. Maybe that's just here.
  9. is it a smaller production? it seems aimed just at Mexico. I probably wont understand half of it.
  10. It's a real shame there are so many Pixar sequels being discussed, when their last film was original and their best movie in over a decade.
  11. Sure it's limited release? Where is that info? I think CP is gonna do well, as horror is ready for a breakout this year.
  12. Crimson Peak will do well. Legend is being underpredicted. Steve Jobs and Everest should do well.
  13. I don't understand the people who say BLADE RUNNER is the best film ever :/
  14. Oyelowo easily gave one of last year's best performances, just a shame it was in such a poor movie.
  15. What about Ghost in the Shell? (I'm not sure what sized budget production it is though)
  16. He works in a small independent cinema, as far as I know. Leave him alone!
  17. The other two movies were pandering, I expect this one will be too. ofc that doesn't mean Redmayne can't give a phenomenal performance but I remain very sceptical about this movie for obvious reasons.
