    Finally got myself a new job. Last couple weeks have really sucked being unemployed, glad to be back working today.

    uh... you're seriously comparing Aladdin's legs to Titanic? aladdin is doing well but it will finish probably just over 3x multi. which is pretty standard for family film albeit it opened well. And Aladdin was huge right out of the gate. $117m in opening holiday weekend. Not really the same thing.

    those meat impersonators when they get it, will solve everything. Lab-grown meat would seem to be the obvious answer to me, I know thats in early stages of development but if they keep working at it the cost of producing it can come down. I don't know how much funding those types of companies get, but they should be backed by the government imo. I absolutely understand we need to radically change the way we consume meat, but the reality is that most people will not accept change unless it has minimal effect to them.

    It was more like 4 months before release but yes granted that was a tight turnaround. Don't see why they'd want to do that again though.

    Would be absolutely awful. Thought the Richard Madden suggestions were rubbish, but just watched Bodyguard and I'd be quite happy with him in the role, would suit him.

    In fairness i should have said "i've yet to see a good film by the Wachowskis". I havent seen Cloud Atlas or Matrix 2. I found the first one insufferable enough so no desire to see the sequels.

    Sure, the Wachowskis are yet to make a good film - but so is Denis Villeneuve. Still waiting. Maybe this one will be tolerable. Not saving my breath.

    I watched one episode of Game of Thrones, and bits of the Flight of the Conchords & Tenacious D original series. Apart from that I've never seen anything from any show made by HBO.

    He wrote a perfectly reasonable and eloquent description of his response to a film, and you accuse him of not having been "trained to sympathise" with women and not understanding because he's a dumb male. The hell is wrong with you? Jeez.

    yeah man, an animated commercial is totally comparable to a feature film. They should have got the blizzard staff to make the whole movie instead of Legendary. it would have ruled. those sparkly effects are so cooool. who needs talentless hacks like Duncan Jones to make it. should have got Chris Metzen to do the whole thing himself.

    Yeah, that's when this forum was created. Lots of members were on the box office mojo forum. I dont think it was an "official" merge from Mojo to boxoffice.com, but this is essentially the same thing. So regular members from Mojo days joined this place when it was made in 2011.
