every studio has a disappointment / flop every now and again. FLOP2 is nothing to worry about. It will still make like 400m+ worldwide. When Hotel Transylvania makes those numbers its called a success. Yes this probably cost more bigger marketing spend but it's not a disaster. Not every movie gets to be a franchise. SLOP was a hit, apparently no one wants a sequel, so what. They've got more movies coming soon. Sing & Grinch did really well. I suspect Sing 2 will be similar situation to FLOP2 but it will still cover its costs and turn a profit. And yes DM3 had a bit of a drop but it still made over 1 billion. Minions are not going anywhere anytime soon. Besides even if the next minions film were to flop like Cars 3 they would still make billions off of the merchandising. The creation of the minions is probably the most lucrative movie character in this century if not maybe all time.

well what do you mean by breakout. It's doing really well here, but it's also doing really well in USA. Unless I'm mistaken i think its doing about on par with domestic performance,

Solo was decent despite the reshoots, not because of them. Don't think there was any indication that the original film would be badly received, just that Lucasfilm werent happy with what it was.

i honestly thought this was decent. First X-men film I've seen where the X-Men seem like a family who support each other. Good action sequences too. Didn't understand anything about the villains or the whole dark phoenix powers thing. The fact that I enjoyed it despite that, speaks to how good it was, I guess.

I think the idea is not that everyone will subscribe to 5+ streaming services but rather, that the content you get from Disney+ will outweigh that of Netflix and get someone to switch.

no it's not fact. there are many different opinions and theories about how sexuality works. You are not some genius. Ralph 2's teaser trailer was a lot better than the film. Hope the same doesn't go for Frozen 2.

sexuality changes all the time IMO what you are into and who you find attractive can change over time. the people you find attractive when youre 12 is probably not the same as what you find attractive when youre 45 right. I've heard of many people who live their life as heterosexual and some point later in life they turn homosexual. I decided i did not want to sleep with men any more and after a while i lost all attraction to them and turned straight. never looked back. @TMP has been on this board long enough to know better than thinking i am a troll.

When I was 15 onwards, I was gay, full on homosexual, only had interest in males, wouldn't dream of having sex with a woman. Then about age 19 i lost interest in men and started being attracted to women. it was like a switch being flipped. Can't imagine anything worse than having sex with a dude again now. Oh and being straight is way better than being gay.

So, it's a Richard Curtis movie. That's all i need to know.

Alita kinda did flop though jcs. No it didn't do quite as badly as everyone said but it was not a hit.

yeah that's right at the end, you see him briefly he tells a kid to slow down in the corridor. other than that he's really not in the film after they confront Jean - which is 45 ish minutes in at best, I would guess. he is missing for a LOT of the film. I think it's good. Train scene is good. its clear and quite energetic. Preferred the action sequences to Apocalypse, can't remember DOFP well enough to compare it.

the current Outrage Culture is more concerned with transgender actors playing transgender characters. They've moved past their gay phase.
