lol I mean not all the X-Men movies. X2, First Class, Days of Future Past, and Logan (aka the good ones) are clearly on another level from all the Disney/Marvel movies. You can actually call them films. I know this is very subjective. I just get this feeling with the Marvel/Disney movies that they're plastic, they need to constantly remind you that they're in on the joke and self-aware and it's all wink wink. The plots are all the same, even the way they're shot just screams assembly line. The X Men films take themselves a lot more seriously (which isn't always good, but they do it well) and they're closer to being art. They're more like the Nolan Batmans in that sense.

I mean sure, but they're not classics and won't ever be. Marvel is pure prolefeed. It's factory line happy meal movies. They could be directed by anyone. There's a reason why the X-Men films are so much more sophisticated. Until Disney buys Fox, I guess. But when it comes to Star Wars, they need someone with a vision.

I haven't posted on this website for years (I was one of the original BOM refugees and have since become consumed with school and my writing career) but I'm just popping in to say that this has to be one of the weirdest and most unpredictable box office performances ever, and I'm excited to see what happens.

So what's going on with this game? This was legendary at BOM, so many amazing memories, it's a real, real tragedy that BOM vaporized the forums from existence. There was nothing like this anywhere else in on the internet or in the world. I started playing when I was 13 and now I'm about to graduate college and have already written several short films, and am slowly making my way as a screenwriter in the real world. CAYOM taught me how to tell a story, and gave me my first audience. It was basically the best, most entertaining workshop experience ever. I still have all my films saved on my computer and the progress from my first years to my final ones is staggering. I went in being able to come up with solid concepts but with no idea how to develop them into a cohesive, detailed plot, and left with an instinctive grasp of great storytelling. I owe my passion in life to this game, as melodramatic as it may sound. It showed me that I can tell a great story, and I'm not sure I would have found out without it. More importantly, it gave me my first audience. So Numbers, Ry, Impact, Billy, Point, Phil, Ueka, and everyone else out there, if you're reading this, thank you. And I still hope I'll be able to meet you one day. If you ever stop by Vancouver send me a message! I check this account from time to time.

Even after 3+ years, I am livid and will seriously NEVER forgive them for what they did to the forums and to CAYOM. They KNEW about it. They knew we had 7 years of history and creativity and hard work on their servers, and that we were a community, and they didn't even have the decency to let us know they were shutting down the forums. A simple "hey we might be shutting down the forums so you guys should make a backup of all your info and organize yourselves to settle somewhere else" would have sufficed. And then have they have the AUDACITY to not even make them visible using Wayback machine. At least you can access the site now through that even though it will be frozen at October 9 2014. Assholes.

Fuck you imdb First the forums, with NO warning, and now the whole site?! That was the most amazing, valuable resource for anyone interested in box office or future film releases. The end of an era if true.

Numbers I love that you used "The River" in The Bronx Is Burning (if you can't tell that's Bruce in my avatar, I'm a massive fan).
