If Black Adam had released it in China it would have cracked 500M WW. It seemed like the type of movie that in normal conditions would have done very well in China. Hell if it had released in December then easy 600+ WW.

Everyone has their own opinion. I watched it when everyone around me was gushing and hyping it up. Expectations were high, but I was disappointed. If I had watched it when the hype died down then maybe I would have appreciated it more. Anyways, how is Dunki doing after the massive Pathan and Jawan numbers? Srk fans were confident of it being another 1000+ WW grosser.

It is doing better because of Christmas/winter holidays. If this had released in the summer it would have done the marvels numbers at best.

Now imagine fox had stuck to the December 2018 release of Alita Battle Angel. It would have easily done 150+m domestic and 400+M overseas and $550+ million worldwide. Idiots.

2023 ended on such a downer. Both factions taking pot shots against each other and trying to prove who is authentic. 2024 will be better, as the khans will be taking rest, so their fanbases will be muted.

He has the right idea for Zelda. Whom do they want to direct? James Cameron? Lol fanboys expect too much from their beloved properties. No "name" director would be interested in doing this unless it is Sam Raimi. Wes Ball I feel can pull off a visual stunner and handle action very well if the studio and producers are on page with him. My only concern is Avi Arad.

Like I said musicals/dance numbers are not Hollywood's forte. They look so lame in comparison. Marvel has been sucking balls for quite sometime so that kumail number doesn't surprise me. They anyways have always shown India and Indian things in their movies poorly. It is funny how India always laps up the movies, but just watch all movies with anything Indian in it. It is always caricaturish and poorly done. On the other hand they have a hard on for everything Pakistani. It brings smile that Ms. Marvel is a giant flop on streaming and big screen numbers wise.

It is garbage just like Hollywood musicals. Worst genre invented by Hollywood/western folks. Bollywood does song and dance eons better than stupid Hollywood. They should stick to giant movies with tons of CGI.

I want this to be massive, but somehow I get the feeling this might underperform i.e. similar numbers to GvK or worse KOTM.
