To be fair, TNB always had a bit of trouble with release. Either it gets released before Thanksgiving when lots of people aren't in a Christmas mood or goes up against Star Wars...neither sounds like a good option.

Yes...but I firmly believe that The Night Before was a fluke. Honestly, releasing a Christmas movie before Thanksgiving was a pretty bad idea lol. Not to mention the Star Wars effect was in play.

Rogen's fanbase will show up for this certainly...not to mention it also has Franco, Wiig, Hill, Rudd, Cera, Hader, McBride, Robinson, etc. it also has a high chance of being good OW: 27 M DOM: 109 M (a 4x multiplier sounds reasonable to me)

Seemed to mostly like it though. Laughter, some at appropriate times, others at not so appropriate times (pretty sure you're not supposed to laugh when her car gets dropped). One person said, an obnoxious teenage girl in an obnoxious teenage voice, while walking out of the theater, said it was "like, one of the stupidest movies she's ever seen." Huh, must've been too good for your simple mind...I assume every horror movie needs to have jumpscares in your face every second.

I saw that poster yesterday when I went to see Zootopia...and it was right by the place where kids have their birthday parties. Kids were terrified

Looks as if we had very similar trailers. Only difference is I got TMNT 2 with mine.

More appropriate laughs throughout.

Pretty disappointing week at the movies for me. How to Be Single was chuckle worthy but nothing special. I walked out of Race, I thought it was incredibly boring and predictable.
