  1. Real Steel is at 176.5m according to Hollywood Reporter. 200m? Can it do it
  2. 200M overseas alone? Not happening. Not going to get suckered into hype again
  3. some updates from BOMBreaking Dawn Part 1- 341MThe Muppets - 4MArthur Christmas- 45M Puss in Boots - 89MIn Time - 82MTower Heist - 42MHappy Feet 2 - 34M more to come
  4. Not surprising for Muppets. Family films drop hard on this weekend and no matter how good the reviews are some people will have no interest in a film about talking puppets
  5. yeah but with a lot of movies opening, it will be a challenge.
  6. Muppets will probaby drop 50% this weekend since the Post Thanksgiving weekend isn't kind to family films. Could still pass 100M with Christmas holidays though
  7. don't be alarmed if The Muppets drops more than 50% this weekend. It is expected
  8. is Tin Tin popular in Japan or Australia? If not, it should only do average business there. Tin Tin seems to only be taking off in countries where it is well known
  9. The post Thanksgiving period always sees huge drops for films. The HP films that opened in November and Twilight all drop at least 60% that weekend
  10. it won't reach 300M. Next week it will take another 60% drop. That alone will put 300M out of the question
  11. Updates:Breaking Dawn -268MTin Tin- 207MPuss in Boots- 62MHappy Feet 2- 14MIn Time - 70MReal Steel- 168MParanormal Activity 3- 97MTower Heist- 36MMoneyball- 21MArthur Christmas- 22MI am still holding out hope than Real Steel can reach 200M, though I don't know if it can
  12. I think Goblet of Fire increased because it released in the same year as the sixth book, resulting in HP mania
  13. we get it about Hugo. It had a big jump, now how about The Muppets and Twilight, where will they end up?
  14. Yeah it seems that BD1 will be the lowest grossing Twilight since the first. Still nothing to get agitated to. BD2 should revover
  15. funny how barely anyone mentioned Skyfall, which should do 500M
  16. it's not doing badly at all, it is just that people were making ridiculous predictions like 500M overseas. It probably won't even reach 400M
  17. it seems that Paranormal Activity 3 now has no chance of matching the original's gross
  18. Tin Tin is not going to make as much as Sherlock or Breaking Dawn. People are really in denial if they think Tin Tin is going to win this battle. Tin Tin definitely does not really have enough in it to get to 400M overseas and it domestic gross won't be that high.
  19. I wonder if Real Steel can reach 200M overseas. It still has Italy, Spain, and Japan and a few other countries. It also did solid this week considering there are no new openings. It needs to make up for its disappointing domestic total, which was mainly due to a terrible release date
