That was too light of a word. It's technical achievements are incredible, and it has some strong accolades, but I have always seen it more as a phenomen than something that merits a sequel. In my opinion it was a beautiful, but okay movie. I bet people say the same thing about Tree of Life though, one of my favorite movies though. I also sometimes wonder if this will ever happen especially the more it is put off. I wonder how many people actually have an Avatar sequel on their radar as being something they really look forward to.

This needs an explanation.

Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith- 5. Attack of the Clones- 7. But I was a child, now I am lukewarm about all of them. Recently I saw Birdman twice in theaters? That's about it. Will see Inside Out a second time and might catch MMFR again though.

To me Gone Girl was fun as a blockbuster, but I did not like it as much as most. It is incredibly well directed, but I thought the acting was sub par and never got how Pike got the award traction. I guess it was weak year for the category. Only Moore, Cotillard and kind of Witherspoon were worthy.

I am baffled by how die-hard some fans are. I think that this will go down from Avatar because it is coming out in an awkard time where it has lost relevance and hasn't gained nostalgia. Also, the first movie wasn't good and I think people realize that more now. This would have to be a huge game changer. But, I bet I will be taking this all back when the first trailer drops.

This weekend is awesome. Despite Inside Out being the far better movie in my opinion I hope JW takes first so IO can get the 2nd place record. I can't believe that we are in talks of Jurrasic World crossing 400m in 10 days and Inside Out have a nine figure opening. Also, it is really cool how fast the thread cleared up. Only took one sweep.

New to this, so bare with me. Wouldn't TS3 possibly be more front loaded since it is more of a phenomena? Being a late sequel and all. I think WOM hasn't even reached its peak for Inside Out.

I saw Trainwreck at a screening with Schumer. If you like her humor you will love it. Quite funny, a little over long though.

Joy, Carol and Demolition!

Hey there! I am Tanner and I have been lurking for almost two months and finally decided to make an account. It is kind of funny because I feel like I know some of you already. Went and saw this today after yesterday's crazy numbers. Blockbusters and action flixs don't usually do it for me and this was no exception. It was enjoyable and the climax sequence was fucking badass, but pretty surface levels. That being said it, it served its purpose and met expectations for me. I am glad I spent the money to see it in theaters. Definitely not something to miss on the big screen especially if you can ignore blatant product placement. Anyways, it has been so fun sharing this weekend with you guys and I can't wait to do so more actively from here on out.
