  1. Right, because Watchmen and Sucker Punch made so much money and were so fully embraced by audiences... WB just wants to let the guy bring his vision to the world, if they really wanted to make the most money possible with these movies they wouldn't hire this guy AND let him do what he wanted with it.
  2. BVS is an experimental concept, so to an extent we can compare it to an Art film. If WB wanted it to be a huge commercial success they would use some CBM formula to make it more appealing and easy for audiences to digest. If you watch the movie, you understand what I'm saying.
  3. There's no reason to expect this movie to behave like a commercial movie.
  4. People are afraid to leave their home when there's a threat of a terrorist attack
  5. There was an attempt of a terrorist attack in US yesterday in the Capitol
  6. RT scores are really important, I heard Disney was very disappointed The Force Awakens wasn't the most successful movie of the year, by not reaching 100%.
  7. It's nice you put some thought into figuring the IMDb, Flixter and RT score, I think that's really important for WB and for us. Thank you.
  8. You may not like BVS but I don't think anyone really considers it an absolute trash with no production quality in not even one scene. It's not like Green Lantern, that everything looked fake and ugly and wrong and unoriginal (even though I find that movie entertaining ).
  9. I don't understand the hate for movies like this, or for christians itself. I'm very skeptical about God, I find it hard to believe in all of it but I miss the time when I did, I think it was good to me and I think it is good for people to believe in God. I didn't see the first movie, but I watched a christian movie last August called "Do You Believe?" and while it was poorly executed I like its ideas. It basically wasn't trying to convince anyone that God is real, it was a movie about how the total faith in God influenced the lives of the characters, independent of He's real or not. And yeah, I know there are issues between christians and gay rights and things like that, and I stand for the gay rights in this, but I just don't agree with christians being labeled as villains or stupid people either. That being said, I've heard good things about the first God's Not Dead (not from movie fans, though) and I think I'll try to watch it on Netflix before the new movie opens, I liked the trailer.
  10. In my University this morning I saw a guy with a Batman shirt and in my class there was a guy with a Superman shirt. This movie is truly a pop culture phenomenon.
  11. Haters are now creating fake holidays to have an excuse for the movie performing over expectations, that's hilarious

  13. They are clearly up to something, but we're not allowed to discuss this. There was even articles today defending the critics after all the backlash from the fans.
  14. Biggest opening weekend of all time in Brazil in admissions (2,6 million tickets / 2,4M without previews) and local currency (R$43,5M / R$39,5 without previews).
