  1. I hate to attack other members but Jesus Christ, this is so embarrassing. The guy is over 35 years old and behaves like a kid.
  2. DC will make way more money with BVS than what critics received to trash it, so no.
  3. Still, it will exceed those projections by a respectable mile, so... critics failed at their attempt to hurt the movie anyway.
  4. There was a Deadline article saying projections were from $110M to $140M
  5. Crazy to think the industry was projecting an OW of $110M and now it could open north of $180M despite the critics agenda to hurt the movie.
  6. Age Of Ultron made $3,4M on OD: http://variety.com/2015/film/news/box-office-avengers-sequel-earns-44-8-million-in-first-two-days-overseas-1201479243/ And The Force Awakens $2,7M: http://variety.com/2015/film/news/star-wars-force-awakens-international-box-office-1201665090/
  7. Batman v Superman: Brazil also set a Warner Bros. record for best opening day with $3.5 million at 1,331 screens with previews, accounting for 73% of the top five films. http://variety.com/2016/film/box-office/batman-v-superman-box-office-international-1201739377/
  8. A person can't be front loaded, and this thread is not for us to be talking about you, it's for us to discuss box office numbers.
  9. Ok, I humbly admit I was wrong about this. It was the best comic book movie of all time, not of the year.
  10. In @Lordmandeep's defense, I don't think we should judge how people waste their lifes. Some people also think that about watching movies, or discussing box office. People have the right to get entertained the way they like.
  11. Instead of spend the whole day checking audience score and creating fake accounts to help lower it, go to the cinema and check the real reactions from audiences yourself, everybody is loving the movie.
  12. Good decision. The board have been toxic these last few days, people are acting too childish over this. It's been embarrassing.
  13. iJack you're being annoying, not even I can defend you now. Please stop this. We get it, you hate it. I don't want to put you in the ignore list, I really like you, man. I respect your opinion on the movie, it's fine you didn't like it. But come on, why you have to do this?
  14. I like everything that's discussed in the movie, because I really love Superman and what he represents. I love watching Lex Luthor blooming into the threatening psychopath that the character always had the potential to be. I love the building of the DC universe, the hints of what's coming. I love the fight between the two main characters, and I loved the final battle and Wonder Woman. This movie has so many perfect and memorable scenes. I love it from start to finish, it's flawless.
  15. I watched it two times last night and the audience had a lot of fan, reactions in several moments and huge applause at the end. If someone is not going to watch it because of the reviews, well, your bad. But I think the persons who will like this movie are already going to see it. There's a member here who is clearly a DC hater and has been saying he won't go watch this movie for years now, I don't know why he keeps making sure we know that, I guess that's something we'll be reminded for the rest of the DC Universe existence, or his existence. Talk about lack of something to do with his life... If you don't like and you don't care for these characters, it's obvious you won't enjoy the movies, move on.
  16. I'm not pretending, I really loved it. And I'm watching it again today in IMAX. Not sure if only once. Just to remember the final battle it gives me chills.
  17. 10/10 This was a crazy fun ride. It's understandable why critics didn't like it, and why many people won't like it. This film is for fans of the source material. Snyder is crazy to do what he did in this movie, and WB is crazy for allowing him to do it. Very bold and risky move. They could easily do a crowd-pleasing movie and they chose not to. But as a fan, I'm so glad they did it. And in the long term, it will pay off. As the whole DC Universe unfolds, people will look back at this movie and praise it like it deserves. Snyder created another masterpiece.
  18. I know why you didn't like it. I can't decide who is the craziest, if it's Snyder for playing with this movie, or if it's Warner for letting him to. It's so understandable why critics didn't like it and why so many people won't like it too. It's definitely not getting a great reception and Avengers' box office numbers. But I'm so glad they did it, the movie is perfect. It was like a dream. I don't care about box office and reviews when I get to have that movie. Damn, that was insane. What a great night. I love you King Snyder.
