  1. I think we may see both movies show highly abnormal legs, should be really interesting! Quite eager to follow these 2 movies. Literally never happened before
  2. I thought it was a pretty good but convoluted movie. Nolan's style is bombastic and you need to understand that fact when going in. I didn't have to shout against an annoying teenager so I consider this evening a success already. I just wish the 1st act was better. Really curious to see what shape the box office will take
  3. Still debating whether or not I'm going. I don't like that people can remove their masks once seated. What's to prevent them from coughing their heart out all movie long?
  4. original title is Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain which translates to The fabulous fate of Amelie
  5. what about Kiki's delivery service literally nothing happens but it's great!
  6. So many French movies. I speak French and I think they're over-represented
  7. Opening in Canada next week, I'd very much like to go Curious to see the box office for this Legs should be pretty exciting
  8. Be careful with that kidney, it might come from a certain Mr. Vengeance
  9. The long-take hospital shoot-out in Hard Boiled, which took 40 days to film, is up there among the greatest action sequences ever filmed in my opinion. Also one of the last famous ones to be done completely without CGI, at least on this scale. They even squeeze in a 1 minute drama sequence right in the middle of it as if filming such a gangbusters action scene wasn't reason enough to go crazy, now the actors have to also deliver a full intense drama scene without mistake as well or else.... CUT! Unbelievable. And the rest of the movie is really solid too!
  10. ALSO another Park Chan-wook I absolutely have to see This and Stoker and then I'll have seen them all I think
  11. I hear crosses are on discount these days. Might have to acquire one for a crucifixion
  12. Wasn't impressed with Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden's work so hopefully this time around it'll have actual flair
  13. Scott has started a series called The Art of Action, with lots of guest stars like Tony Jaa. Really cool
  14. I just wanna say, I wish I had watched Park Chan-wook's Psychological/Horror/Romance thriller THIRST (2009) before submitting my top because JFC It would assuredly have made my top 5. Unbelievable, unique movie. Fantastic performances, especially from Kim Ok-bin who is a revelation. Kong Sang-ho is amazing as usual. So yeah, if it barely missed this top, feel free to crucify me. Latest FYC ever lmao
  15. Obviously Hong Kong should have won of course But France? Hey I'm gonna take it. After all, I can watch them without subtitles
