  1. So glad I didn't miss this, chasmmi have you considered tagging a bunch of people? I'll be posting a top 100 for sure. Expect lots of Hong Kong representation
  2. Saw this recently, very unique, creative and stylish fight scene even though the choreography isn't anything to write home about. It's just fun and interesting, sort of drunken muay thai. If you don't know who that fighter is, watch Chocolate by the director of Ong Bak.
  3. My current top 20 (FYC all of them obviously) 1. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) 2. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) 3. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) 4. The Matrix (1999) 5. Pulp Fiction (1994) 6. GoodFellas (1990) 7. Pan's Labyrinth (2006) 8. Mulholland Drive (2001) 9. Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) 10. Inglourious Basterds (2009) 11. Schindler's List (1993) 12. Inception (2010) 13. Casablanca (1942) 14. The Apartment (1960) 15. Peking Opera Blues (1986) 16. Inside Out (2015) 17. The Truman Show (1998) 18. The Godfather (1972) 19. Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) 20. Whiplash (2014)
  4. After Wandavision people will be begging for more Wanda. I doubt they don't make her co-lead.
  5. Oh yeah, I have 2 weeks vacation for the holidays. I guess I already know what I'm gonna be binge-watching!
  6. Disney Star Wars and production issues - name a more iconic duo
  7. So Netflix released an interactive map for The Witcher, it's really great. Shows the full timeline and details every event mentioned in the show. https://www.witchernetflix.com/en-gb
  8. @JamesCameronScholar Finally watched The Prodigal Son (about time) and man, I have to agree here, the final fight is excellent! Frankie Chan is virtually a complete unknown and yet look at that! What a guy. I've seen him in only one other movie, Outlaw Brothers, and he was amazing as well, I recommend it since it also stars the incredible Yukari Oshima. To the surprise of no one, Yuen Biao is also a rockstar here.
  9. Wanda Maximoff concept art from Avengers: Age of Ultron by Paolo Giandoso Didn't see a thread for this show so figured I'd create one. Releases late 2020. What we know so far: 9 episodes Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen reprise their roles. Kat Dennings and Randall Park will be reprising their MCU roles of Darcy Lewis and Agent Jimmy Woo respectively. Teyonah Parris will be playing an adult Monica Rambeau (child character from Captain Marvel) will tie in directly with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as Elizabeth Olsen also co-stars in that movie Jac Schaeffer is showrunner, and the creative team is comprised of a majority of women Parts were filmed in front of a live audience with a laugh track. should be pretty weird, perhaps in the vein of FX's LEGION? Release date is January 15th 2021 Apparently this show will impact the whole of Phase 4 so curious to see where they go with that. Wanda has lots of potential to be weird: ---------SEPT 2020 UPDATE--------
  10. Really fun show, I have to agree with @Jonan23 in that I understand where the criticism comes from, but it doesn't bother me. Can't wait for season 2 and all hail the swordfight in episode 1
  11. $50M intl week-end is pretty good for TROS no? Higher than I would have guessed anyway.
  12. It's a book adaptation. They've said numerous times that they follow the books not the games. However, they do take things from the video games (bathtub lmao)
