I agree SOLO is going to gross the worst of Disney era Star Wars but it should still over a $100m which is a hell of a lot more than anything AIWP1 has faced yet

Peter Jackson got fucked by Del Toro and left with no time to make the films, he was shoehorned into letting the CGI team do everything. I believe in him. I mean you can take the leap of faith to believe in television directors jumping from 0 budget to 200m so you should try a little bit of trust here.

Yeah it's possible with china existing I'll give you that. Although normally film sequels released 1 year apart perform +-15% of the film before it (check lotr, potter, etc) I think DH2 is a anomaly because it was the last potter film looking like $2.1b total so range for IWP2 is $1.8b to $2.4b
