  1. Someone said something like 'oh if you're going to get all these Star Wars movies then you'll be fine with the numerous Avatar sequels', and my reply was, well, people are asking for one and not the other. You're going into the "why" of it all, but you don't disagree with me I don't think. As for level of excitement for a movie coming out it 2018, I can only speak for myself. But I'm looking forward to both Ready Player One and Wreck-It Ralph 2 way more than Avatar 2. Also in the next year I can't wait for Incredibles 2. I'm sure most people are the same. Even though it's only one movie and not "part of an already massive franchise".
  2. ...Yeah I know that. I'm not saying "people aren't excited because it's shit!" or whatever, I'm just commenting on the difference between anticipation for Star Wars and Avatar. Because someone else mentioned it first. And besides, it might not be a franchise yet, but it's still a movie. And one movie can still get people excited for a sequel, and Avatar didn't seem to do that.
  3. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm just reiterating that most people aren't excited. If it's good, that's great, but we don't know that right now do we.
  4. Except everyone is clamouring for the former, and no one seems keen on the latter.
  5. This blurb from an RT review is pretty brutal: Jason Bourne is like SPECTRE without any of the good parts. And if you're saying to yourself, "SPECTRE has good parts?" then let me assure you, compared to Jason Bourne it does. No way is this movie that bad. Spectre was completely balls.
  6. Wow, a teaser trailer that actually only teases. Can't wait for this. I hoped that Kelly Macdonald would return, but it would probably be difficult to write Diane back into the narrative. I also haven't read Porno so I don't know if she was in that.
  7. I didn't know Alicia Vikander was in this. Kinda adds to my overall feeling of meh towards this movie, and I love the first three.
  8. You know what... against my better judgement, I'm looking forward to this. Moreso than Holmes and UNCLE, this really looks like an existing IP directed by the guy who did Lock Stock and Snatch.
  9. If I didn't already know the director, I would never have looked at that poster and thought Guy Ritchie. I'm really curious about his take on this.
  10. Eh, I could live with that, hopefully their face plates are on most of the time though. It's not like they're ruining awesome costumes from the old tv show, they've always looked balls. Kimberly is still hot, and honestly that's all I really remember from Power Rangers, so I'm glad that's not different.
  11. The international trailer has gotten me pretty excited for this. I'm mainly sold on the quality of the cast, but it looks like it might be a fun blend of western tropes and modern action. It might even break into my top 5 modern westerns. 1. 3:10 To Yuma 2. The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford 3. Bone Tomahawk 4. Django Unchained 5. True Grit
  12. Yeah he wasn't bad for the Hornets in general actually, especially compared to his time in Houston and LA. What was up with that terrible cockatoo hairdo though.
  13. Fair enough. But far below the level that Linsanity predicted. Still, those 10 games were glorious.
  14. Linsanity lasted only 10 games and then Jeremy has been a bum ever since. Not sure we want to associate Justin with that.
  15. My comment was in response to someone putting JL on their list of great comic shows, so I didn't just pick the weakest of the bunch. Which in my opinion was Superman actually. Which was also on the list. Honestly, other than Batman and some of JLU, most of the Timmverse is kind of a slog to get through these days. I loved them as a kid, and I should have left it to my memories instead of revisiting.
