  2. I’m not saying they were smart to not put it back in, I’m just pointing it out as you guys were discussing it.
  3. My theatre I track is in Richmond hill. Spider-Man FFH( last update) 1:20pm - 49/336 4:25pm - 87/336 7:30pm - 212/336 10:35pm - 53/336 New update 1:20pm - 100/336 4:25pm - 112/336 7:30pm - 253/336 10:35pm - 85/336 New shows added Regular 2d 11:55am-0/223 12:20pm - 6/345 3:00pm- 2/223 3:30pm - 2/345 6:00pm - 8/223 6:30pm - 21/345 9:00pm- 12/223 9:30pm - 4/345 New 3D shows 12:50pm - 6/306 4:00pm - 2/306 7:00pm - 25/306 10:00pm - 12/306
  4. I loved MOS as much as I loved WW so I can respect someone’s opinion on that. Im really excited after hearing what he said in the video, it’s pretty much in line with what a few others have said in this thread already about the movie. Hopefully it all works out well for this movie and it can do just as well as the first.
  5. Spider-Man FFH (Tues July 2) 1:20pm - 49/336 4:25pm - 87/336 7:30pm - 212/336 10:35pm - 53/336 There’s really not much else to track at my theatre for this atm, most of the other shows have minimal seats sold for the other days leading into the weekend and even on the weekend there isn’t much sold. I’ll check back next Monday and see how it’s doing again.
  6. Sounds like that ya, I guess we’ll see how it goes and what they have planned but it does seem strange to film this early for a release date that far away. The only other thing I’m thinking is maybe this is how it was planned the whole time with Disney and WB kinda working together with Gunn so he could do one film after another and still leave space to finish vfx etc, this scenario doesn’t seem likely but who knows right.
  7. Probably depends on how filming goes and what they think of it.
  8. Haven’t bothered reporting TS4 preview night cause it’s only sold 50 tickets across 4 showtimes, if things pick up over the next few days I’ll add it here but so far the sales haven’t been anything great at my theatre. I also looked around at the two other VIP/Imax theatres closest to my place and sales are a bit better there but not much. Obviously this is gonna be very walk up heavy here.
  9. I wonder if JJ Abrams may want to do a DC movie now that he is signing his production deal with WB.
  10. https://apnews.com/1f4d4433929d499599238896df2912b8?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_medium=APEntertainment&utm_source=Twitter Levi said the film created a bigger platform for his career. The actor said scriptwriting for the sequel has already begun and expects to start filming either in late spring or early summer next year.
  11. I don’t think the opening weekend is going to jump that much but WW is about to enter the top 20 for all time Blu Ray sales.
  12. I just don’t know what you’re basing your statements on cause on the list it seems to have done well in most markets, especially considering it had pretty big competition from TF and the mummy (overseas). Those two movies did over 600m overseas I think right? I mean you could be right and it could decrease but the way I see it is WW2 (with good buzz) has a much larger opening weekend domestically and has weaker legs but stays close to the firsts domestic numbers and it increases a bit overseas. That’s just my guess. And that all only happens if buzz is very good for the movie and competition stays the same.
  13. The only thing I think that hurts this movie is bad reviews and bad buzz. If buzz is like the first movie after reviews I think this will be huge. Just look at how the poster trended like crazy on social media. I also agree with others and think this and BW will coexist just fine( and I expect BW to do very well). I’m honestly not looking forward to test screening reactions, the last thing I think anyone wants to hear is bad buzz one year out.
  14. I don’t know, Legs seem fine to me on this list. Did pretty well actually in some places cause it didn’t really open huge anywhere. https://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=intl&id=wonderwoman.htm
  15. Amazing how one person can speak for the whole overseas market.
