I can see wom being mixed for the movie depending on what you went into the movie expecting. But what I can say is that after watching it I think wom will be better then I originally thought after seeing all the controversy on social media.

Joker was fantastic. JP is insanely good.

I don’t care about media, rt or any controversy surrounding this, it was just a fantastic movie that I really enjoyed. Hopefully others feel the same way.

Unfortunately I won’t be able to get any numbers later for final counts for preview night. I’m seeing joker at 7, and I’m also having surgery tomorrow so I have a lot of stuff to get together today/tonight after work for the weekend and for the family. Hopefully all goes well and I can check in over the weekend to see how things went.

Tickets in the areas I’m tracking are pretty solid for Friday as well, I guess we’ll see how the weekend goes. I actually just did a quick count for Friday, for the 24 theatres I’m tracking Joker has a bit over 9000 seats sold for the day so far, last night my count was 7384 tickets for preview night. Not sure what that means but it seems to be selling pretty good for Friday so far.

Ok, figured it out. First, it’s been 24 theatres not 22, only 3 have not been reporting but that hasn’t changed the whole time. Total tickets across all the theatres (24) - 46641 I should add, that’s the total as of today, lots of new shows keep popping up so many don’t have a lot of tickets sold but either way that’s the total number of seats that will probably be available Thursday night.

A lot, lol. Let me figure that out and I’ll come back in a bit.

I don’t think being under John wick matters cause obviously IT2 was under John wick 3 and that opened over John wick as well. Did that company run some special with John wick? Is that why they had such high presales.

This seems pretty good for joker tbh cause it’s only had a week of presales and all those other movies had at least a month. I understand presales have gone up year by year and that Aquaman was a holiday movie but still seems pretty decent for joker.

But the problem is he’s an MCU Stan and wouldn’t even be addressing this issue if it wasn’t about a DC movie. I honestly don’t even know why any of you are even wasting your time responding to him.
