There were rumours supergirl was shelved, but who knows what’s true and what’s not.

It’s been disappointing as a Superman fan for sure but I’m trying to stay positive. I’m really excited about all the other DC movie projects so I’m good for now but I’d really love to get a new Superman movie in the next 3 years. I feel like they have the right people in charge and know Superman is important to fans.

If I had to guess and I could be wrong, Maybe it’s cause he’s approaching a big group of guys so he wanted to set an example so the others wouldn’t attack him as well. I guess we’ll see when we watch the movie or in another trailer.

WB has to be seeing this stuff. I’m gonna be shocked if we don’t have some announcement about something with Superman before the end of the year.

I have no idea what’s more accurate or better gauge but the the Batman trailer already has more views in about 24 hours on Twitter then both Joker trailers have. It also has like 125k more likes then the first joker trailer. Joker was definitely bigger on YouTube though for sure.

This is the same thing I said in the other thread. It’s not really comparable anymore. Also, people have to remember that the initial first run of trailer views for this were done on the live stream on Fandome.com, but either way it doesn’t really matter. All you have to do is look at trailer views for Aquaman( which had ok trailer views) and broke out big (especially overseas). This will do very well if they maintain this hype and Reeves does what it seems like he’ll do with this.

You guys should know by now there’s different hype for Marvel and DC and they just can’t be compared anymore, we’ve see this in the past with trailer views etc for the different franchises . Yes the Batman has huge hype but It’s a different type of hype (kinda like Joker hype) not Endgame hype. Just enjoy what you see and let’s hope the world gets back to some form of normal in a year or so and we can hopefully see some big numbers again next summer. And yes, I won’t be commenting anymore on this in this thread. -
I guess we’ll find out more over the next few months cause Shazam and Black Adam are filming early next year, so if he’s in small roles in those movies we’ll hear about it then. Still holding out hope for a solo movie eventually.

As much as I enjoyed today I can’t lie and say I’m not disappointed that we didn’t get any kind of Superman announcement, but I’ll just try and stay positive and keep hoping it’s coming eventually.

Off topic a bit again but we don’t have a Fandome thread. I really hope DC/WB see the response to this event and do something like this every year, it was really awesome.

And people wonder why they try and include Batman in everything lol. Just for a comparison, WW84 trailer has 4.2m views and 120k likes all day, not that it’s bad or anything and I know it’s the second trailer, but this has next level hype around it.

There is major hype for this Batman Movie, if Reeves delivers and the world is in a better spot when this releases, it should do very very well.
