I wouldn't read TOO much into the Kidman win. The gloves can't resist her nor Sorkin, and Stewart was always going to struggle here, but I guess I thought Colman or Gaga were more likely to upset. It does look like Power of the Dog is gonna repeat its huge success with critics though.

It's pretty good considering it's only on one screen at every theater it's at. (It's only playing in 70mm)

It's very much a movie that needed strong reviews and buzz to break out of its niche, (which it doesn't have) and opening right between Dune/Dispatch and Eternals isn't going to do it any favors.
