Damn at The Batman, confident it’ll go over $375m with a solid chance at $400m. The fact that we might have 4 CBMs over 400m domestic is wild this year as I don’t think that’s been done (provided Panther 2 doesn’t move). Go Dog Go! Get that $60m total. Uncharted is having some solid legs and has a good chance at being the biggest video game movie domestically. Will Uncharted be the biggest video game movie of the year is the question?

Also this is the first time this week Free Guy hasn’t played in my house. Lot of damn family films November 2023. Paramount/Imagine’s Treehorn, Dreamworks’ Trolls 3, Paramount/Ryan Reynolds’ Imaginary Friend movie. There’s also the Disney tradition but it’s future is uncertain.

If anything I think Chapek might be a little more dissuaded from doing cause I’ve been riding the no way in hell Lightyear goes theatrical camp since the second trailer. It now seems the Pixar people at least are open to voicing their discomfort now and can create another PR war for Chapek. -
