  1. I mean something midbudget doing solid numbers can help kickstart a trend. I mean yes SpiderVerse was a CBM and this is not at all the best comparison but because of it there’s a wave of stylized animated flicks out now.
  2. Shit even pre pandemic, 30m would be in a win in 2018-2019.
  3. Should have tons of showings, and lots of room to play. Honestly wonder if a 200m opening isn’t so crazy anymore.
  4. Tbf TR would’ve still opened to at least Onward or Encanto’s five day numbers due to the Pixar pedigree.
  5. I got a gut feeling that it’ll be fast tracked to the 7/19/24 spot as Animated Transformers is pushed to the mid August slot for 2024 Paramount likes.
  6. Tbf until NWH, the Venom movies were the best live action Spider-Man movies since SM3 lol.
  7. I mean Sonic could be like other male skewing family films and be a bit more frontloaded.
  8. Two animated shows. One for adults from the Rick and Morty guys and a Nickelodeon show.
  9. @cayommagazine Next summer, from the studio that bought you Can You Imagine? and Gateways comes an animated musical in the heart of Barbados. Keith L. Williams Anika Noni Rose Ynairaly Simo Issac Ryan Brown Priah Ferguson Cree Summer with Keith David and Kevin Michael Richardson with Original Songs by Rihanna and Stephen Bray Endless Animation proudly presents Duppies 6/7/Y9 Trailer and first look 4/3/22

  11. I am hopeful that I may get a project done by my birthday, next week Sunday. It’ll then go into the editing stage from feedback. My goal is for the project to have a word count of under 10k, preferably around 5K-7K.
  12. Lost City - 30m/100m Morbius - 65m/162m Sonic 2 - 50m/140m FB3 - 35m/85m Bad Guys - 25m/70m
  13. @cayommagazine Rumor has it that the Endless Animation/Rihanna deal for Duppies goes even deeper. Apparently, a prominent scooper, Rihanna and Tony-winner Stephan Bray are co-writing the songs together as the movie is going down a more musical route. The songs itself are said to be heavily reggaeton based.
